Marketing for Canada

Welcome to the Marketing for Canada resources page! As Workforce Go expands its reach, Canada presents a significant opportunity to help small and medium-sized businesses streamline their HR processes. This page is designed to equip you with the essential information and marketing materials needed to effectively promote Workforce Go solutions within the Canadian market.

The Canadian Opportunity

The Canadian market offers significant growth potential, with a large number of small and medium-sized businesses being a key target audience for Workforce Go’s services. There’s a consistent demand from the partner community to offer Workforce Go products in Canada. Launching with HR & Time initially, with Payroll coming in 2026, allows us to introduce our feature-rich system.

Target Audience

Our primary target audience includes small and midsized Canadian businesses, with a specific focus on those utilizing the following ERP systems:

  • Sage 100 ERP
  • Sage 300 CRE (Construction & Real Estate)
  • Sage Intacct
  • Acumatica

Leveraging Key Integrations: Your Competitive Edge

A key differentiator and a significant advantage for promoting Workforce Go in Canada is our seamless integration with leading ERP systems used by Canadian SMEs, particularly Sage 300 CRE and Sage 100. Our integrations are designed to provide a unified experience between HCM and ERP, allowing businesses to gain efficiency and insight into finance, operations, payroll, people, and time information.

Our integrations with ERP systems like Acumatica, Sage Intacct, Sage 300 CRE, and Sage 100 ERP offer real-time, bidirectional synchronization for critical data points. This includes:

Employee data: Keeping employee details in sync between Workforce Go HCM and the ERP system.

Cost centers/Subaccounts/Segments/Projects/Tasks: Synchronizing these elements from the ERP system to Workforce Go for accurate time collection, management, project/job costing, and payroll allocations.

Time entries: Flowing employee time details between Workforce Go and the ERP system.

These deep integrations are crucial because they directly address common pain points for businesses:

Reduced Administrative Overhead: Automating data synchronization eliminates manual double-entry between HR/Time and the ERP system, saving significant time and reducing the risk of errors.

Improved Data Accuracy: Real-time updates ensure that both systems are working with the same, accurate employee and financial data, leading to better reporting and decision-making.

Streamlined Workflows: Connecting HR processes (like onboarding, time off, performance reviews) directly with payroll and finance streamlines operations and improves overall efficiency.

We will walk you through the steps and help you access and use our brand assets to make updates simple and effective. It’s never been easier.

Marketing Resources for Key Integrations

To help you communicate the power of these integrations, here are links to key datasheets (brochures). We recommend using these assets to highlight the specific benefits for businesses using these ERP systems:

Remember to adjust the copy from the brochures and emails to suit your marketing efforts and consider embedding videos on your website or including links in emails for maximum impact.

Essential Canadian Considerations

When speaking with Canadian prospects, it’s important to be aware of specific market requirements and the current capabilities of Workforce Go in Canada:

Compliance: Workforce Go is designed to work within the parameters of national and local laws, as well as Union regulations. Compliance with federal and provincial labor laws, employment standards, and privacy regulations like PIPEDA is a key value point. Be aware that laws can differ province to province.

Data Residency: A key qualifying question for prospects is whether data must reside in Canada. While PIPEDA requires comparable protection regardless of storage location, this can lead to practical requirements for data residency in certain cases. Workforce Go is not currently a fit if data must reside in Canada until access is gained to the Canadian POD.

Payroll Availability: Workforce Go Payroll in Canada is targeting availability in 2026. Initially, tax services will not be available, and Global Pay (ACH only) will be the sole method of payment processing. Payment instructions will be on the invoice, similar to USD invoices.
