An Evolution of Leadership: Workforce Go’s New Horizon

An Evolution of Leadership: Workforce Go’s New Horizon

April 23, 2026

Change in leadership

Workforce Go is pleased to announce a strategic leadership evolution. After successfully guiding Workforce Go through its build phase, Chris Goheen is stepping into a new role at our parent company, A.E. Perkins (AEP), as the Chief Innovation Officer. In turn, Rashmi Daryman will be taking the helm as President of A.E. Perkins and will be responsible for both Workforce Go and Ameriflex. Rashmi will be supported by John Goheen, who continues as Executive Vice President of Operations.

Workforce Go Enters its Next Phase of Structured Growth and Innovation

Over the last few years, Workforce Go has grown significantly. We have established a strong corporate reputation by delivering quality products alongside high-touch customer service. This success has positioned the company to transition from a startup stage to one characterized by more disciplined execution. Building on the success and innovation that characterizes Chris Goheen’s leadership, Workforce Go is poised to take the next step in its strategic evolution to improve its operational excellence.

Chris Goheen Steps Up as Chief Innovation Officer at A.E. Perkins

Chris successfully helped build Workforce Go to this stage of maturity. Now, as the company transitions into a disciplined cadence, he turns his focus to building what is next for AEP.

As Chief Innovation Officer of A.E. Perkins, Chris will apply his entrepreneurial strengths to create enterprise-wide value. He will be dedicated to identifying, launching, and scaling new ventures across the AEP portfolio. This new focus means that Chris will continue doing what he loves best–innovating. He’ll be creating new partnerships and technologies that directly benefit Workforce Go, its clients, and the broader AEP organization.

A New Chapter for Workforce Go and Ameriflex: Welcoming Rashmi Daryman as President of A.E. Perkins

We are thrilled to welcome Rashmi Daryman as our new President of A.E. Perkins. She’ll also be overseeing both Workforce Go and our sister company Ameriflex in that role. No stranger to this level of responsibility, Rashmi has a track record of delivering measurable results while ensuring operational discipline. Her promotion formalizes the experienced leadership our organization has already benefited from.

A Career Built on Driving Measurable Success

Rashmi brings a strong history of leading high-performing teams. She began her career at Ameriflex, in July 2008 as a Customer Service Representative in the Client Success Department. She grew alongside the organization, taking on increasing responsibility across client services and operations. Rashmi managed the Client Account Management team, supporting more than 9,000 Ameriflex clients. Eventually, she became Director of Client Experience, overseeing multiple critical functions. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President and ultimately President of Ameriflex. As President, Rashmi guided the company through a period of significant growth and operational maturity.

Rashmi’s focus on operational discipline is proven by the results she has driven:

  • Client retention improved from 85% to 98%.
  • Revenue retention is 99.34%.
  • Client emails are responded to within 6 business hours over 90%
  • Participant growth was up 16% from 2024 to 2025.

A Focus on Operational Discipline and Client Experience

Under Rashmi’s leadership, Workforce Go’s focus in the year ahead will be on strengthening the operational, technological, and organizational foundation so we can grow with confidence.

As Rashmi shares, “What excites me about Workforce Go is the opportunity to help shape the next phase of its evolution. Being able to help turn Workforce Go into a more disciplined, high-performing organization that can grow sustainably is what makes the work exciting”.

Rashmi’s first priority is nurturing a culture of clarity as we grow. “My job as a leader is to create clarity – clear goals, clear ownership, and clear expectations – so teams can execute with confidence and focus,” she says.

Rashmi notes that clients can expect Workforce Go to be “an even more dependable partner for payroll, time and HR operations”.

A Strong Future for Workforce Go and A.E. Perkins

This strategic evolution reinforces Workforce Go’s stability and operational strength. Strong organizations become more successful as leadership evolves, and this transition signals forward momentum and maturity for both companies.

“With these leadership changes, A.E. Perkins and Workforce Go are both perfectly poised for success in the next phase of their growth,” says A.E. Perkins CEO William Short. We are excited about the significant enterprise value Chris will create in his new role for the entire AEP portfolio. At the same time, we have the utmost confidence in Rashmi’s proven leadership to execute Workforce Go’s next phase of disciplined, scalable growth. We look forward to building a strong future alongside all our clients and partners.
