The HR Pros have modified the following handbook policies to reflect HR best practices and/or regulatory changes. You may wish to update your own handbook policies based on the information below, or reach out to the HR Pros to request that an updated policy be sent to you.

This policy has been updated to cover all regular employees instead of full-time employees and grandparents have been removed from the list of covered family members. The policy now states that additional unpaid leave will be considered. Bereavenent leave it not mandated by federal law, so employers who liked the old policy are welcome to keep it. This newer version just represents what we consider a better general practice.
